The American University of Rome is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education in the United States. Our degrees are as valid as those from Harvard or Stanford, the only difference is that we deliver our degree programs in Rome, Italy.
All teaching and campus activities at AUR occur in English - although all students will study Italian. However, at last count, there were 28 native languages amongst our student body and over 50 nationalities.
AUR is a truly international, multicultural environment and this exciting, creative mix of peoples, cultures, and experiences is often cited by our alumni as one of the most memorable and beneficial aspects of an AUR education.
