MA IN PEACE STUDIES AND CONFLICT RESOLUTION
Human Security in the Mediterranean
and Beyond

AUR's Peace Studies and Conflict Resolution program offers a multidisciplinary exploration of conflict mediation and resolution on a global and cultural scale. The program provides students with a comprehensive understanding of peace and conflict in interpersonal, institutional, societal, and global contexts. Through engaging with intercultural dialogue, politics, religion, and nationalism, students explore both the causes of conflict and the factors essential for peacebuilding.

AUR's MA programs are designed for student success
Our 15-month programs are designed with professional students in mind, although many students do enter directly from an undergraduate education. After the first nine months of study and groundwork, students can either stay in Rome for the duration of the program or complete their internships and theses remotely, allowing them to take as little time away from their busy lives as possible.

This modular structure limits on-site learning to a single school year and also makes the M.A. more affordable.
